Since our humble beginnings, Thakali Essence has not only flourished but expanded its reach, proudly opening two additional outlets in 2023. Now, our flavors extend to the culturally rich locales of Lalitpur and the bustling neighborhood of Pepsicola. Each outlet is a testament to our commitment to sharing the essence of Thakali cuisine with a broader audience.

MR. NIVEN AMATYA

Mr. Niven Amatya, the esteemed CEO of Daura Thakali, owns a wealth of expertise and qualifications to his role. Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the American Inter-Continental University of London (2002-2005), Mr. Amatya has cultivated a deep understanding of the global business landscape. Prior to this, he earned his BBA in Liberal Arts from the University of Colorado, showcasing he’s commitment to a well-rounded education (2000-2002).

Mr. Amatya’s leadership extends beyond Daura Thakali, as he serves as the MD and CEO of Bota Food and Restaurant Pvt ltd which is already has become a leading Momo and fast food brand in Kathmandu and outside Kathmandu as a Bota Momo. Not only that but also has established a café named B & D Café. With such a diverse and accomplished background, Mr. Niven Amatya leads with a unique blend of international business acumen and a passion for culinary excellence, shaping the success and reputation of Daura Thakali.
